Lucknow — The Madeyganj Police launched a strict vehicle-checking drive near Daliganj Crossing as part of an effort to ensure road safety and enforce traffic regulations.
During the operation, several e-rickshaw drivers and motorists without valid driving licenses or helmets were reprimanded by the police. Special attention was given to those carrying more than the permitted number of passengers, with officers cracking down on such violations.
As part of the drive, challans were issued to over two dozen vehicles, including e-rickshaws operating without proper documentation.
Officers also checked papers of several e-rickshaws and allowed some drivers to leave after issuing strict warnings.
This initiative reflects the police department’s commitment to maintaining discipline on the roads and promoting safe transportation practices in the city.
