Lucknow: Delhi Public School, Shaheedpath proudly organised its Investiture Ceremony with great dignity and enthusiasm, marking the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council. The ceremony celebrated the spirit of leadership, responsibility and service, inspiring students to uphold the values and ethos of the school. The programme commenced with a warm welcome, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and the rendition of the DPS Anthem, creating an atmosphere of pride and solemnity.
The Chief Guest, Radha Raman Singh, ACP South Traffic, was accorded a warm felicitation. Addressing the gathering, she inspired the young leaders to lead with integrity, discipline, humility and a strong sense of responsibility. The highlight of the ceremony was the badging of the newly elected Student Council members, including the Head Boy, Head Girl, Sports Captains, House Captains and other council members, who were formally honoured and entrusted with their leadership responsibilities. The newly elected office bearers then took the Oath of Office, solemnly pledging to discharge their duties with sincerity, dedication and commitment to the ideals of Delhi Public School.
Principal Dr. Manju Lakhanpal congratulated the newly elected Student Council members and urged them to wear their badges not merely as symbols of authority but as reminders of their commitment to serve the school community with honesty, dedication and compassion.
Vice Principal Swati Singh Malhotra and Admission Head Divya Singh also extended their best wishes to the student leaders, encouraging them to embrace every challenge with confidence and uphold the values and traditions of Delhi Public School.
