DM Bareilly checks counting centres

District Election Officer took stock of the preparations made for counting of votes along with observers

Bareilly: District Magistrate/District Election Officer Ravindra Kumar  visited the counting place of Lok Sabha General Election-2024 at Uttar Pradesh Raj Bhandaran Nigam premises located at Parsakheda along with  General Observer Mukesh Kumar Ahuja of Lok Sabha constituency Amla and  General Observer Jeevan Babu K of Lok Sabha constituency-25 Bareilly and also took stock of the preparations made for counting of votes and gave necessary instructions regarding the smooth conduct of counting of votes.

During the inspection, detailed information was given about the instructions/guidelines of the Election Commission regarding counting of votes and instructions were given that the counting of votes should be completed on time as per the rules.

During the inspection, instructions were given that keeping in mind the heat, sufficient number of fans should be installed in the counting room hall, so that the counting personnel do not face any kind of problem in the heat. During the inspection, Chief Development Officer Jag Pravesh, Senior Superintendent of Police Ghule Sushil Chandrabhan, Additional District Magistrate Administration Dinesh and other concerned officers were present.
