Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya Inaugurates ‘Shriti Vatika’ Park

Ghaziabad – Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Keshav Prasad Maurya, inaugurated ‘Shriti Vatika,’ a park developed by the municipal corporation in memory of the late Shriti Yadav, at Vasundhara Sector-5, Ghaziabad.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Minister Sunil Kumar Sharma, Ghaziabad MP Atul Garg, District Magistrate Deepak Meena, Municipal Commissioner Yukt Vikramaditya Malik, MLA Sanjeev Sharma, former minister Baleshwar Tyagi, former MLA Roop Chaudhary, Basant Tyagi, and Ward 54 Councillor Satendra Chaudhary. The event was presided over by former minister Baleshwar Tyagi, while former MLA Roop Chaudhary conducted the proceedings.

Tribute to Shriti Yadav

Before the inauguration, Deputy CM Maurya visited the residence of Shyam Lal Yadav in Vasundhara Sector-5 to pay homage to his late daughter, Shriti Yadav. He garlanded her portrait and shared an emotional moment with her family.

Following this, he formally named the park as ‘Shriti Vatika’ and inaugurated a state-of-the-art open gym equipped with modern facilities. Speaking at the event, Maurya highlighted the park’s significance, stating, “This park will serve as a cherished memory of Shriti and will also promote health, greenery, and cleanliness among the residents.”

Leaders Acknowledge the Park’s Importance

Minister Sunil Kumar Sharma described ‘Shriti Vatika’ as a valuable gift for the local residents. MP Atul Garg paid tribute to Shriti Yadav and noted that the park would be beneficial for the health and well-being of Sector-5 residents, particularly children.

MLA Sanjeev Sharma echoed similar sentiments, emphasizing that the park’s greenery and clean environment would inspire people towards a healthier lifestyle.

Family Expresses Gratitude

Shyam Lal Yadav, father of Shriti Yadav, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, officials, and citizens present at the event. Former MLA Roop Chaudhary thanked Mayor Sunita Dayal, Municipal Commissioner Vikramaditya Malik, and others for naming the park after Shriti Yadav.

Former minister Baleshwar Tyagi concluded the event with an emotional tribute, stating, “‘Shriti Vatika’ will keep the memories of Shriti alive forever.”
