Along with this, there is also news of many people dying due to hot winds. The Uttar Pradesh government has announced that if a person dies due to heat stroke, then the state government will give an assistance amount of 4 lakhs to his family.
However, it is necessary to conduct a post-mortem of the deceased person. The Yogi government has said that if a person dies due to heat stroke, then the family members of the deceased will have to give information about the deceased to the SDM, Tehsildar, Lekhpal of the area.
Those who are dying during election duty, there is a rule to give them an assistance amount of 15 lakhs as per the rules of the Election Commission of India.
