Lucknow: With the aim of implementing the orders of Mayor Sushma Kharkwal and Municipal Commissioner Inderjit Singh 100%, the new city health officer Praveen Kumar Srivastava made a courtesy visit to all the ZSOs, SFIs and employees of the Municipal Corporation in the auditorium at the Municipal Corporation headquarters. In the same sequence, a meeting was called regarding all the works conducted by the Health Department. So that the current ongoing schemes and campaigns can be speeded up.
In the meeting, mainly the health department of the Municipal Corporation gave instructions to everyone to do the daily work in a systematic manner. In which fogging, road sweeping etc. were ordered to be done regularly with full responsibility. Also, all the employees were asked to perform the work from 05:00 am and everyone was motivated to be responsible towards their work and discharge their responsibilities with full devotion and honesty.
Apart from the above, in view of the elimination and prevention of communicable diseases, the Municipal Corporation Health Department gave instructions to make the campaign successful by running it in a planned manner on a large scale. So that communicable diseases can be prevented from spreading in the city and by eliminating them 100 percent, the general public can be provided security.
He instructed that the Health Department should ensure that the anti-larvae/fogging work already being done in the city should be done regularly with more improvement and promptness. All the operating teams were instructed to remain active in the affected areas. To speed up the communicable disease control campaign, all the team employees were asked to be provided dress, helmet and safety gear. So that the communicable disease control campaign of Lucknow Municipal Corporation can get a new direction and identity.
Apart from the above, he also encouraged to regularly inspect people’s houses and make them aware and issued necessary guidelines. So that communicable diseases can be controlled by preventing mosquito larvae from growing.
