Catching Heritage Evangelists young at AGDC Lucknow

Lucknow: The Departments of History and Anthropology of Avadh Girls’ Degree College, Lucknow and INTACH, New Delhi signed the MoU for greater academic exchange and research collaboration between the two institutions and joint organisation of seminars and conferences.

The MoU also talked about training, workshop and internship in heritage management and conservation for students of the college at INTACH.

The MoU was signed by Prof Bina Rai, Principal of Avadh Girls’ Degree College and Dharmendra Misra, Director, INTACH Conservation Institute, Lucknow on behalf of the two institutions. Also present on the occasion were Jayant Krishna, UP State Convenor, INTACH and Prof Sumna Varshney, Dr Neetu Agarwal, Dr Maulishri Shukla and Meena Kumari.
