Lucknow: Book A Treat, a vibrant and unique book club founded by Shilpa Gupta, celebrated its second anniversary with great enthusiasm at Hilton Garden Inn, Lucknow. The theme of the thought-provoking literary event was “Chapters of Change – Stories That Define You.”
The event featured an engaging panel discussion with prominent speakers including Dr. Rishi Sethi from KGMU, Dr. Meenakshi Pahwa (Retired Professor, University of Lucknow), and Ms. Jyotsna Habibullah, founder of the Lucknow Farmers Market. The discussion was expertly moderated by Beena Krishna, while the stage proceedings were smoothly conducted by Mitushi Negi and Rachita Vyas.
Club members Garima Tripathi and Surabhi Srivastava also shared glimpses of the club’s enriching journey and spoke about their favorite books and the impact they’ve had.
Expressing her heartfelt gratitude, founder Shilpa Gupta said, “This club is not just about books — it is a platform for ideas, experiences, and soulful connections.” She thanked all guests and members for making the occasion special.
Over the past two years, Book A Treat has evolved into a meaningful space where bibliophiles gather every month to engage in literary discussions and exchange stories that inspire and resonate deeply. Through its monthly meetups, the club continues to offer a unique blend of intellectual stimulation and community bonding.
With storytelling at its heart, Book A Treat is not just reading between the lines — it’s reading into lives.
