BLUE Launches AI-First Video Infrastructure

Mumbai (Anil Bedag): Bengaluru-based AI startup BLUE (KGraph AI Solutions Pvt. Ltd.) has introduced an AI-first enterprise video infrastructure platform. The company claims that its world’s first semantic video codec compresses data by understanding the meaning of video content. This can reduce camera streaming and storage requirements by up to 80%, save up to 90% on network bandwidth, and bring down video storage costs by up to 10X. The company is targeting 10X revenue growth by FY30.
According to BLUE, its solutions have been deployed with leading companies in India, including Britannia, Haldiram’s, HPCL and CPRL. The company is also running pilot projects in Africa and Sri Lanka.
Kunal Kisle, CEO of BLUE, said, “This breakthrough has been developed in India and built for the world. Our goal is to make the BLUE Semantic Codec the default codec for CCTV cameras globally.” Pradeep V., Group Manager-IT at Britannia, said, “With BLUE’s compression technology, we are able to connect hundreds of cameras across different sites onto a shared platform.”
