Mumbai: Fans of the hit comedy Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! are in for a treat as their favourite on-screen characters make a grand leap from television to cinema with the upcoming film Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!. The movie is set for its World Television Premiere on April 26 at 12 PM on Zee Cinema.
The film brings back the iconic characters that have made the show a household favourite over the years. Viewers will once again see the witty and opportunistic Vibhuti Narayan Mishra, the perpetually troubled Manmohan Tiwari, the innocent and charming Angoori Bhabi, and the smart and stylish Anita Bhabi. Their trademark banter, playful flirtations, jealousy, and constant one-upmanship remain at the heart of the story, now expanded into a full-length cinematic experience.
Adding fresh energy and chaos to the narrative are prominent actors like Ravi Kishan, Mukesh Tiwari, and Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua, whose characters introduce new twists and comic situations. The ever-entertaining Happu Singh also plays a key role, enhancing the film’s humor with his signature comic timing.
Director Shashank Bali said the film aims to retain the essence that made the show popular while scaling up the story for a cinematic format. “For years, the show has connected with audiences of all ages through its humor and relatable characters. With the film, we wanted to preserve that charm while delivering a larger-than-life experience,” he said, adding that the trailer offers glimpses of laughter, chaos, and high-energy entertainment.
Actress Shubhangi Atre, who plays Angoori Bhabi, described the project as close to her heart. She noted that audiences will get to see new shades of her character along with several surprises. She also highlighted her experience working alongside seasoned actors like Ravi Kishan and Mukesh Tiwari as enriching.

Vidisha Srivastava, who essays Anita Bhabi, said her character goes beyond glamour in the film. “This time, Anita plays a significant role in driving the story forward, which makes it even more exciting,” she said.
Veteran actor Aasif Sheikh expressed pride in being part of the franchise for over a decade. He shared that the film allowed him to explore his comic side further as his character lands in a series of amusing predicaments.
Rohitashv Gour, who portrays Manmohan Tiwari, added that the film takes confusion and comedy to a whole new level. “Audiences will see a more dramatic, hilarious, and extremely confused Tiwari ji. It’s incredible to have a film inspired by our own universe,” he said.
