Bareilly: District Magistrate Avinash Singh chaired a review meeting of the Chief Minister Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan at the Collectorate auditorium, directing banks to expedite loan approvals and improve the implementation of the flagship entrepreneurship scheme.
The meeting focused on the scheme’s progress and the bank-wise status of loan sanctions. During the review, the District Magistrate expressed concern over the large number of pending loan applications across several banks and instructed officials to dispose of all pending cases on a priority basis.
Emphasising that the Chief Minister Yuva Udyami Vikas Abhiyan is one of the Uttar Pradesh government’s priority initiatives, he said negligence at any stage of implementation would not be tolerated. He directed branch managers to ensure accountability and warned that action would be taken against poorly performing branches in accordance with established norms.
The District Magistrate also instructed the Deputy Commissioner, Industries, to take necessary measures to improve progress against targets and directed banks to update all approved loans on the scheme’s online portal without delay to ensure accurate monitoring.
Deputy Commissioner (Industries) Vikas Yadav, the Lead District Manager, and representatives of various banks attended the meeting.
