Bareilly: Ayurveda Day was observed across the country under the Aarogya Project of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, with a focus on promoting awareness about healthy living, preventive healthcare and India’s traditional medical knowledge.
In Bareilly, the organisation’s local branch conducted an Ayurveda Day programme at Trivati Nath Temple. The event highlighted Ayurveda not merely as a system of treatment but as a holistic approach focused on disease prevention, health preservation and a balanced lifestyle.

Awareness sessions covered Ayurvedic lifestyle practices, balanced nutrition, Ritucharya (seasonal routines), daily routines, natural health protection and disease prevention. Sadhvi Vandana Bharti explained practical ways in which people can incorporate simple Ayurvedic principles into their everyday lives.
The programme emphasised the importance of focusing on prevention and health promotion rather than relying solely on treatment after illness develops. The Ayurvedic principle of Swasthasya Swasthya Rakshanam—preserving the health of the healthy—was highlighted as an important aspect of holistic wellbeing.

The Aarogya Project works to promote health awareness and healthy lifestyles by viewing physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing as interconnected. Participants were encouraged to pay greater attention to their diet, daily routine, seasonal changes and natural methods of maintaining health.
A large number of people participated in the programme and received information on incorporating Ayurvedic principles into modern lifestyles. The initiative aimed to connect traditional Ayurvedic knowledge with contemporary living while encouraging individuals and families to take greater responsibility for their health.
The organisation said such awareness initiatives are part of its broader efforts towards promoting healthier individuals, families and communities.
