The Hamas leader and one of his bodyguards were killed in an airstrike, the attack was carried out on a building where they were staying. On Tuesday, Haniyeh was in Tehran to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian. Hamas has blamed Israel for this attack.
