Lucknow: The third launch ceremony of the Amazon bestseller Gulabi Khanjar was held in Lucknow as part of Kavishala’s prestigious event, Aaghaz. The occasion was graced by renowned storyteller and author Dr. Himanshu Bajpai, along with senior journalist Navalakant Sinha.
The authors of Gulabi Khanjar, Dilip Pandey and Chanchal Sharma, added grandeur to the event, discussing the historical significance and relevance of their book. The novel, categorized as historical fiction, has been a topic of extensive discussion in literary circles over the past few months. Following its announcement in Bhopal in October, the book’s cover was unveiled at Sahitya Aaj Tak in November. Upon its pre-order availability on Amazon in December, it soared to the top spot in the historical fiction category within just 18 hours and secured the third position in the overall book category.
During the launch ceremony in Lucknow, esteemed guests shared their perspectives on the book’s theme and writing style. Author Dilip Pandey shed light on the title and its historical context, while co-author Chanchal Sharma elaborated on the book’s significance for readers. She emphasized the role of strong female characters and their impact within the narrative.
Senior journalist Navalakant Sinha praised Gulabi Khanjar for its unique storytelling approach, describing it as an extraordinary blend of history, suspense, and thrill that keeps readers engrossed until the very end.
