‘Aapka Vidhayak Aapke Dwar’ Camp Held in Sarojininagar, Focus on Public Grievances and Welfare

Lucknow: A weekly outreach camp under the initiative “Aapka Vidhayak Aapke Dwar” was successfully organised in Majra Gangabaks Khera of Barkatabad Gram Panchayat in the Sarojininagar Assembly Constituency. The camp, held under the guidance of MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh, served as a comprehensive platform for addressing public grievances, improving healthcare access, and promoting youth empowerment.

Direct Public Interaction and Grievance Redressal

During the camp, officials engaged directly with local residents, listening to their concerns, suggestions, and requirements. The initiative focused not just on collecting complaints but ensuring their prompt, transparent, and effective resolution.

A total of 16 applications related to development works were received, including road and drainage construction, housing schemes, disaster relief, school beautification, temple renovation, widow pension, bicycle distribution, school upgradation, and drain construction. These applications have been forwarded to the concerned departments for swift action.

Health Services Reach Rural Areas

A special eye-check-up camp was also organised as part of the event, benefiting senior citizens. Around 66 elderly residents underwent eye examinations, and 40 were provided free spectacles, significantly improving access to healthcare services in the rural area.

Recognising Academic Excellence

Meritorious students were honoured for their academic achievements. Sakshi Rawat (Class 10, 71.3%), Anshu (Class 12, 51.2%), Devansh Tiwari (Class 12, 73.3%), and Rishi Kumar (Class 10, 62.7%) were felicitated with bicycles, watches, and certificates, encouraging youth to excel in education.

Boost to Youth Engagement

As part of youth empowerment efforts, the 116th Girls Youth Club and 180th Boys Youth Club were formed. These clubs aim to foster leadership skills, discipline, and teamwork among young people in the community.

Community Participation

The event witnessed the participation of several local representatives and community members, including sector coordinator Neeraj, Pradhan representative Surendra Rawat, Mahila Morcha president Priyanka Singh, and other prominent citizens.

Strengthening Grassroots Governance

The camp highlighted the importance of direct interaction between elected representatives and citizens. Such initiatives are playing a key role in strengthening grassroots governance and ensuring that development schemes reach beneficiaries effectively.
