BJP Holds Preparatory Meeting for November 3 March in Lucknow

Lucknow: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held an important organisational meeting at the IMRT Auditorium in Gomti Nagar on Sunday to review preparations for its proposed mega march on November 3 under the party’s ‘Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy’ campaign.

The meeting was attended by BJP State General Secretary Dilip Patel, State Vice-President Dr Neeraj Singh, Awadh Regional President Awadhesh Dwivedi and Lucknow Metropolitan President Anand Dwivedi.

Addressing party workers, Dilip Patel said the BJP remained committed to strengthening democracy and raising issues concerning public welfare. He said the campaign would take the message of democratic values, good governance and public awareness directly to the people. He urged party workers to participate actively and work with dedication to make the march successful.

Dr Neeraj Singh described the march as an important medium of public awareness rather than merely an organisational event. He called upon party workers to unite and ensure maximum public participation.

Lucknow Metropolitan President Anand Dwivedi announced that the march would begin from the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly and proceed to Parivartan Chowk on November 3. Senior party leaders, elected representatives, office-bearers and a large number of workers are expected to participate.

He added that responsibilities were being assigned to different organisational units and workers across the city to ensure effective coordination.

The meeting was also attended by District President Vijay Maurya, Legislative Council members Ram Chandra Pradhan and Lalji Nirmal, MLA Dr Neeraj Bora, MLA OP Srivastava, regional office-bearers and other BJP functionaries and public representatives.
