Lucknow: The Prakash Purab of Sri Guru Ram Das Ji, the fourth Sikh Guru, was celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm at Gurudwara Alambagh in Lucknow. The congregation was spiritually uplifted by melodious Gurbani kirtan performances by Bhai Davinder Singh Khanne Wale and Bhai Taranveer Singh Rabbi Ji. Devotees paid obeisance and sought blessings while remembering the teachings and legacy of Guru Sahib.

In recognition of their outstanding contributions to community service, three individuals—Oxygen Man Gurpreet Singh Rami, Dharmbir Singh Bagga of Tanda, and Gurpreet Singh Bagga of Saharanpur—were conferred the ‘Fakhr-e-Qaum’ honour by Sant Kashmir Singh Bhuri Wale Dera.
The programme was attended by Bhupinder Singh Ginni and DSGMC Secretary Jasman Singh Nani of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Manjeet Singh Talwar, Bihar Minority Commission member Lakhwinder Singh, and Rajendra Singh Bagga Lucky, among others.

Remembering Guru Ram Das Ji’s sacred Gurbani, the congregation pledged to follow the path of service, humility and humanity. The Gurbani verse, “Har Ji-o Nimāṇiā Ṭū Māṇ,” conveys that the Almighty is the support and honour of the humble and those without refuge.
The programme concluded with the distribution of Guru Ka Langar.
