Gonda: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has appreciated handwritten letters of gratitude sent by students across the Devipatan division after receiving study tables under the ‘Devipatan: Shiksha Ki Udaan’ campaign and sent messages of blessings and good wishes for their bright future.
Launched to improve educational facilities and encourage students to study regularly, the initiative has resulted in the distribution of 1,06,805 study tables across Gonda, Balrampur, Bahraich and Shravasti. A total of 77 students wrote handwritten letters expressing their gratitude to the Chief Minister, who appreciated their messages and responded with his blessings.

The Chief Minister’s replies are expected to encourage students to remain focused on their studies, pursue their goals with dedication and work towards success. The initiative also seeks to build a personal connection with students and recognise their efforts, aspirations and potential.
The distribution of the Chief Minister’s letters was initiated in Balrampur, where he personally sent letters to girl students. On October 12, Divisional Commissioner Durga Shakti Nagpal and District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan facilitated the distribution in Gonda. Officials in Shravasti and Bahraich also handed over the letters to students on the Chief Minister’s behalf.
District-wise, 32,638 study tables have been distributed in Gonda, 19,605 in Balrampur, 42,506 in Bahraich and 12,056 in Shravasti.

Among the students who sent letters of gratitude, 26 were from Gonda, 18 from Shravasti, 17 from Bahraich and 16 from Balrampur, taking the total to 77.
Under the guidance of Divisional Commissioner Durga Shakti Nagpal, the campaign focuses on providing students with a suitable and organised space to study at home. The study tables are intended to improve concentration, promote regular study habits and help children make better use of their academic abilities.
The initiative also aims to encourage meritorious and hardworking students while fostering a positive learning environment. Its guiding principle, “Every home should have a place to study, and every talent should be recognised,” reflects the campaign’s objective of ensuring that children have the facilities and encouragement needed to develop their abilities and pursue their ambitions.
The distribution of more than one lakh study tables, coupled with the Chief Minister’s response to students’ handwritten letters, marks a significant milestone in the campaign’s efforts to support education and motivate young learners across the Devipatan division.
