Bareilly: Shraddha Sharma, a member of the Cultural Club under the University Cultural Centre of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly, has secured third prize in a poster presentation at a national seminar on the role of research and innovation in improving the quality of education.
The seminar was organised by the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Bareilly, and sponsored by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Lucknow. It brought together participants from various institutions to share research and ideas on educational innovation and quality improvement.
Shraddha presented a poster on science, environmental education and sustainable development. Her presentation highlighted the links between science education, environmental conservation and sustainable development, earning appreciation from the jury and securing her the third prize.
Congratulating her on the achievement, MJPRU Vice-Chancellor Professor Anil Kumar Rai said fostering research, innovation and creative expression among students was essential to quality higher education. He expressed confidence that Shraddha’s success would inspire other students to explore innovative ideas.
Dr Jyoti Pandey, coordinator of the University Cultural Centre, also congratulated Shraddha, praising her ability to combine research with creativity. She said the centre worked to nurture students’ academic abilities alongside their cultural talents, adding that the achievement would motivate others.
Shraddha has also demonstrated talent in poetry, essay writing, painting and dance.
University Registrar Mahendra Kumar, Finance Officer Mahima Chand, Controller of Examinations Anil Kumar Yadav, faculty members, officials, employees, students and members of the Cultural Club extended their congratulations and wished her success in future academic and creative pursuits.
