BSP Names Dayaram Rajbhar as Candidate for Jalalpur Seat Ahead of 2027 UP Elections

Ambedkar Nagar: The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has intensified its preparations for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections by announcing Dayaram Rajbhar as its candidate from the Jalalpur constituency in Ambedkar Nagar district.

The announcement was made on Friday during a party workers’ conference held at a private marriage hall in the Jalalpur tehsil area. BSP Uttar Pradesh president Vishwanath Pal, who attended the event as the chief guest, called upon party workers to strengthen the organisation and expand outreach at the grassroots level.

Pal said the party was preparing with the objective of forming the government in 2027 and urged workers to reach out to people in villages and households to communicate the BSP’s policies and ideology. He emphasised the importance of sustained engagement at the booth level.

Referring to the formation of Ambedkar Nagar district and development initiatives undertaken during previous BSP governments, Pal urged workers to highlight these achievements. He also criticised the BJP and Samajwadi Party, expressing confidence in the BSP’s prospects, and set a target of winning all five Assembly seats in the district.

Dayaram Rajbhar, currently serving as the divisional in-charge of the Ayodhya division, was welcomed by party workers following the announcement.

The conference was chaired by former MLC Dinesh Chandra, while district president Sunil Sawant Gautam conducted the proceedings. Several party functionaries, including Dilip Vimal, Sameer Chaudhary, Manoj Verma, Mohammed Asad and KD Gautam, along with a large number of workers, attended the event.
