IFFCO Conducts Training on Foliar Application of Nano Fertilisers in Gonda

Gonda: Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), Gonda, organised a training programme on the use and importance of IFFCO Nano Urea, Nano DAP and Sagarika at Lalakpur village in Mankapur development block on Thursday.

Dr Ram Lakhan Singh, Senior Scientist in Agronomy at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Mankapur, explained the application and benefits of the products. He said the use of Nano Urea, Nano DAP and Sagarika can support healthy growth of paddy crops, improve yield and enhance crop resistance to diseases. He also highlighted their role in promoting better development of leaves and roots.

Vibhakar Tiwari, SFA, IFFCO Fertilisers, said four millilitres each of IFFCO Nano Urea and Nano DAP, along with 2.5 ml of Sagarika, should be mixed per litre of water for foliar spraying.

A live demonstration of the foliar application was conducted on a paddy crop of variety 5204 at the field of progressive farmer Ritesh Singh in Lalakpur. The demonstration was organised as part of an IFFCO field initiative.

Pani Sansthan representatives Anuvind Singh and Aditya, along with progressive farmers including Ritesh Singh, Gangadhar Singh, Akhand Pratap Singh, Manav Aditya, Ramchandra Singh and Arun Kumar Yadav, participated in the training and received technical information on improved farming practices.
