Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, launched following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call, has emerged as a vibrant symbol of India’s unity, collective strength and patriotic spirit.
Maurya said the campaign is strengthening the sense of pride and dedication towards the nation among citizens while giving fresh momentum to the collective resolve to build a Viksit Bharat (Developed India).
He said the association of this year’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with the 150th anniversary of the national song “Vande Mataram” has made the national celebration even more significant, emotional and memorable.”Vande Mataram played an important role in inspiring patriotism and the spirit of independence among Indians during the freedom movement.
Even today, the song remains a powerful symbol of India’s national consciousness and pride,” Maurya said.The Deputy Chief Minister appealed to people across Uttar Pradesh to participate enthusiastically in the nationwide campaign through Tiranga Yatras, Tiranga rallies and collective singing of Vande Mataram.
He urged every citizen to respectfully hoist the national flag at home and encourage family members, friends and people in their communities to participate in the campaign.Maurya said Har Ghar Tiranga should not be viewed merely as a government campaign but as an expression of the country’s collective commitment and pride.
“When the tricolour adorns every home, the spirit of India’s unity, integrity and patriotism will become even stronger and more visible,” he said.The Deputy Chief Minister also appealed to citizens to upload their selfies with the Tricolour on the designated Har Ghar Tiranga campaign platform and register their participation.
He called upon people to make Har Ghar Tiranga a people’s festival by ensuring widespread participation across communities.The campaign, he said, provides an opportunity for citizens to celebrate the national flag while reaffirming their commitment to India’s unity, national pride and the vision of a developed India.
