Gonda (Uttar Pradesh) — A delegation of office bearers from the Rural Sanitation Workers Association, Devipatan Division, held a detailed meeting with the Deputy Director of Panchayati Raj in Gonda, raising several service-related grievances and administrative concerns from multiple districts.
The delegation, led by Divisional President Narsingh Narayan Pandey, included representatives from Balrampur, Shravasti, and Bahraich, along with officials from Gonda district.
During the meeting, the office bearers highlighted various issues faced by sanitation workers in their respective districts. A key matter raised was the suspension case of District General Secretary Jahir from Balrampur, which the delegation described as serious and demanding immediate attention.
Responding to the concerns, the Deputy Director of Panchayati Raj assured the delegation that the suspension matter would be examined and resolved at the earliest. He also assured timely action regarding grievances raised from Bahraich district.
The delegation members expressed gratitude towards the Deputy Director and felicitated him with a bouquet and a memento as a gesture of respect.
Several prominent representatives were present on the occasion, including Gonda District President Raghavendra Tiwari, Balrampur District President Pradeep Gautam, Bahraich District President Gopal Sharan Singh, Shravasti District President Prahlad Gautam, Gonda District General Secretary Devmani Shukla, Treasurer Amir Ahmed, Women’s Wing Divisional President Arti Tiwari, Divisional General Secretary Safikul Nisha, Women’s Wing District President Sarita Kashyap, and other office bearers including Ram Rati Devi, Poonam Singh, Sangeeta Gupta, Anita Prajapati, and Pankaj Mishra, among others.
The meeting concluded on a positive note with assurances of administrative review and resolution of pending issues.
