Lucknow: The Art of Living, in association with Phoenix Palassio and Ekagrata International Foundation, celebrated International Yoga Day 2026 with great enthusiasm and participation at Phoenix Palassio Mall, Lucknow. The event brought together people from diverse backgrounds to experience the transformative power of yoga and collective well-being. The programme was supported by Vault by Virat Kohli.
The event commenced with a soulful Yoga Anthem presented by Pihu Dwivedi, creating a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere. Participants then took part in the Common Yoga Protocol session conducted by senior Art of Living faculty Tanuj Narain, along with Art of Living teachers Arpita Jaiswal and Rashmi Dani. The session included yogasanas, breathing techniques, relaxation practices and awareness exercises aimed at promoting physical, mental and emotional well-being.
Addressing the gathering, Art of Living volunteers highlighted the vision of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, who has consistently advocated yoga as a means to create a stress-free and violence-free society. Participants were encouraged to incorporate yoga, pranayama and meditation into their daily lives to enhance health, happiness and inner peace.
National Coordinator Himanshu Pandey welcomed the participants and emphasized the growing relevance of yoga in today’s fast-paced world. He noted that yoga is not merely a physical exercise but a holistic way of life that strengthens the body, calms the mind and uplifts human values.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from youth, professionals, senior citizens and families. Registered participants received certificates, event T-shirts and refreshments.
The Art of Living also organized and supported numerous International Yoga Day programmes across Lucknow in educational institutions, hospitals, government offices, parks, correctional facilities and community centres, reaching thousands of citizens through the Common Yoga Protocol and awareness sessions on holistic wellness.
The event concluded with a collective pledge to make yoga an integral part of daily life and to contribute towards building a healthier, happier and more harmonious society.
