Lucknow: A grand celebration of talent, culture, and cinema marked the fourth season of the India Excellence Awards 2026, organized jointly by Pallav Charitable Welfare Society and Bhavya Films Production at Hotel The Lily Vilas, Krishna Nagar, Lucknow. The event witnessed the felicitation of 151 distinguished personalities from diverse fields, including education, healthcare, journalism, cinema, music, business, social service, and public welfare.
A major highlight of the evening was the official poster launch of the upcoming films “Mr. Rangbaaz” and “Ganga Gomti”, being produced under the Bhavya Films Production banner. Bollywood actor Sunil Rocky will be seen in the lead role in both films. The ceremonial muhurat for the projects is scheduled for October 25, 2026, in Lucknow, while shooting will commence after Diwali. The films are expected to be released in cinemas during February and March 2027.
The event was inaugurated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by former MLC Arvind Tripathi, former Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia, representatives of MLA Rajeshwar Singh, and other dignitaries. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak and MLA Rajeshwar Singh had been invited but were unable to attend due to prior commitments outside Lucknow.
The cultural segment featured captivating performances by children from JMD Group, musical renditions by S.K. Saxena, yoga demonstrations by Komal Jaiswal, and dance performances by Arshi Kashyap and Yuvraj Singh. Television and film actress Priyanka Chouhan attended as the celebrity guest, drawing enthusiastic responses from attendees.
The audience was also enthralled by specially-abled singer Shabab Ali, whose performance received widespread appreciation. During the ceremony, Sonal Srivastava and Yogacharya Pandit Naveen were appointed as brand ambassadors of the Pallav Charitable Welfare Society.
According to Society Secretary and actor Sunil Rocky and Society President Geetanjali Singh, the event concluded with a community dinner and celebrations, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to recognizing excellence and promoting cultural and cinematic talent.
