Young Cast of Sony SAB’s Hastinapur Ke Veer Celebrate Brotherhood

Young Cast of Sony SAB’s Hastinapur Ke Veer Celebrate Brotherhood On and Off Screen on National Brothers Day

Mumbai: Sony SAB’s upcoming mythological drama Hastinapur Ke Veer is all set to bring alive the early years of the Pandavas and Kauravas when it premieres on June 2 at 9 PM. The show explores their relationships, rivalries and the bond of brotherhood that ultimately shaped the destiny of Hastinapur.

Marking National Brothers Day on May 24, the young actors of the show opened up about how their on-screen sibling bond has naturally transformed into genuine off-screen friendships and camaraderie.

The cast portraying the Pandavas — Athar Khan as Yudhishthir, Subhash as Bhim, Urva Savaliya as Arjun, Harit Gabani as Nakul and Mayank Yadav as Sahdev — along with the actors playing the Kauravas, Ayudh Bhanushali and Shaurya Upadhyay, shared that working closely together has helped them form a strong bond much like a real family.

From rehearsing emotional and action-packed scenes together to spending long hours on set, the young cast members say their friendship is filled with teamwork, playful banter and constant support for one another.

Talking about the experience, Urva Savaliya shared that one of the best parts of shooting the show is getting to spend time with the entire cast. He said they rehearse scenes together, help each other during action sequences and have a lot of fun between takes. According to him, the bond feels so natural that at times it does not even feel like acting.

Athar Khan added that portraying brothers on screen has been especially enjoyable because the actors have genuinely become close friends in real life. He said the cast spends so much time together that it feels like being part of one big family. Whether it is playing games, sharing jokes or helping each other remember dialogues, the atmosphere on set remains warm and supportive.

Subhash, who essays Bhim, said the cast members constantly motivate one another, especially during physically demanding or emotionally intense scenes. He noted that their strong off-screen friendship makes the on-screen brotherhood appear more authentic and believable.

Ayudh Bhanushali, who plays Duryodhan, shared that although the storyline often places the Kauravas and Pandavas in opposition, the actors share a very friendly relationship behind the scenes. He described the set environment as energetic and fun, with the young actors often playing games, joking around and engaging in friendly competition during breaks.

With its focus on emotions, relationships and untold stories from the Mahabharata era, Hastinapur Ke Veer aims to present a fresh and engaging retelling for television audiences.

The show premieres on June 2 and will air every Monday to Saturday at 9 PM on Sony SAB.
