District Magistrate Reviews Major Road and Infrastructure Projects in Bareilly

Bareilly: District Magistrate Avinash Singh chaired a review meeting at the Collectorate Auditorium to assess the progress of important projects being executed by the Public Works Department (PWD), other road construction-related departments, and Setu Nigam in the district.

During the meeting, the District Magistrate conducted a detailed review of ongoing road, building, bridge, and other infrastructure projects, focusing particularly on their progress, quality standards, and timely completion.

Avinash Singh directed officials to ensure that all construction works are completed within the stipulated time frame while maintaining high quality standards. He warned that negligence at any level would not be tolerated and instructed executing agencies and departments to maintain better coordination to avoid unnecessary delays in project execution.

The District Magistrate further instructed all concerned officers to regularly monitor the progress of construction works and ensure that completed projects are handed over to the respective departments within the prescribed timelines.

Officials were also directed to complete all preliminary formalities related to approved projects in advance, including tendering processes, obtaining no-objection certificates, and preparing contract agreements, so that projects can begin without administrative delays.

The meeting also reviewed works affecting the district’s ranking on the CM Dashboard. Necessary directions were issued to the concerned officials to improve performance indicators and ensure better coordination among departments.

Executive Engineers of the Public Works Department and officials from related departments were present during the meeting.
