Bareilly: A monthly review meeting of various welfare schemes being implemented by the Women Welfare Department was held at the Collectorate auditorium under the chairmanship of DM Avinash Singh.
During the meeting, the District Magistrate directed officials to ensure proper verification of all categories of pension schemes to maintain transparency and ensure that benefits reach eligible beneficiaries without delay.
Avinash Singh also instructed officials to conduct regular inspections of institutions operating under the Social Welfare, Women Welfare and Divyangjan Welfare departments. These included women shelter homes, old-age homes, homes for mentally challenged individuals, One Stop Centres and Government Observation Homes for juveniles.
He directed the concerned authorities to ensure that all such institutions maintain proper facilities, smooth operations and necessary care arrangements for residents and beneficiaries.
The meeting was attended by Santosh Kumar Singh, Desh Deepak Singh, Sub-Divisional Magistrates from Aonla, Meerganj, Faridpur, Sadar and Baheri, along with other concerned officials.
