Bareilly: District Magistrate Avinash Singh participated in special religious ceremonies at Tulsi Math Temple in Bareilly on the occasion of the 75th anniversary celebrations of the Somnath Temple under the “Somnath Swabhiman Parv” programme organised by the Tourism and Culture Department.
The celebrations began with a traditional Kalash Yatra from Tulsi Math, followed by ritual worship and prayers at the temple premises. The District Magistrate took part in various religious ceremonies conducted with Vedic chants, including Omkar Jaap, Maha Aarti, Rudrabhishek, and Deepotsav rituals. He prayed for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the residents of Bareilly district.

A large number of devotees gathered at the temple, creating a spiritually vibrant and devotional atmosphere throughout the event. Extending greetings to the devotees on the occasion, Avinash Singh said that such religious and cultural programmes help preserve India’s traditions and strengthen social harmony and unity.
Following the rituals, prasad was distributed among devotees, who participated enthusiastically in the celebrations. Several local residents and devotees remained present during the programme.
