Uttar Pradesh Energy Expo 2026 organised by UP State Chapter, PHDCCI & Firstview Concludes in Lucknow; Focuses on EV Mobility and Future Energy

Lucknow– The Uttar Pradesh Energy Expo 2026, North India’s premier energy sector initiative, successfully concluded its three-day run with a dedicated focus on EV Mobility and Future Energy. Jointly organized by the UP State Chapter, PHDCCI and FirstVIEW, in collaboration with UPNEDA, INVEST UP, and UPPCL, Government of Uttar Pradesh supported by NTPC, SIDBI, SBI, Sigenergy, Polycab, and KEI Wires & Cables.
UPEX drew over 10,000 visitors, signaling a massive surge in interest toward India’s clean energy ecosystem.

The final day featured high-level summits curated by the India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF) and the Vasudha Foundation. Discussions centered on policy dynamics, battery technology, and the development of integrated public and residential charging infrastructure. Industry giants, including Tata Motors, Reliance BP Mobility, and ChargeZone, shared insights on scaling fleet electrification and smart grid readiness.

The expo has firmly established itself as a vital catalyst for North India’s green transition, paving the way for sustainable urban mobility and long-term energy security.

The day commenced with the *“UP EV Mobility Summit: Policy, Market Dynamics & Accelerating EV Adoption in Uttar Pradesh,”* curated by the *India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF)*. The session highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s rapidly growing EV ecosystem, government policy support, EV manufacturing opportunities, battery technology evolution, fleet electrification, and financing innovations driving EV adoption across the state.

The panel featured prominent industry leaders including representatives from *Tata Power, Tata Motors, Reliance BP Mobility, ChargeZone, and LIB India*, who shared valuable insights on scaling EV adoption and strengthening India’s electric mobility ecosystem.

Another key session, *“EV Charging Infrastructure: Powering EV Adoption in Uttar Pradesh – Public and Residential Charging Ecosystems,”* curated by the *Vasudha Foundation*, focused on the development of integrated EV charging infrastructure across urban and residential spaces. Discussions revolved around public charging expansion, DISCOM readiness, smart charging systems, policy reforms, financing models, and user-centric EV charging networks required to support the growing electric mobility market.

The second half of the day featured the *“Commercial Vehicle Electrification & Fleet Transformation Forum,”* which explored the rapid electrification of logistics and delivery fleets across Uttar Pradesh. Industry experts discussed deployment models, fleet financing, charging infrastructure, AI-driven fleet management technologies, and operational efficiencies required for large-scale EV adoption in the commercial transport sector.

The concluding session, *“EV-Ready Future Urban Mobility & Energy Infrastructure Forum – Uttar Pradesh,”* emphasized scalable urban mobility systems, EV-ready grid infrastructure, distributed energy integration, Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) technologies, and coordinated urban planning strategies essential for building future-ready cities in Uttar Pradesh.

A special felicitation ceremony was also organized during the event to honour *UPNEDA officials* for their dedicated efforts in promoting and implementing the *PM Surya Ghar Yojana* across Uttar Pradesh. The initiative recognized the significant contribution of the officials towards accelerating rooftop solar adoption and strengthening awareness around clean energy solutions at the grassroots level.
