Top Rankers of Uttar Pradesh Board Exams Felicitated at Grand Ceremony in Bareilly

Bareilly: A grand felicitation ceremony was organized to honour meritorious students who secured top ranks at the state level in the Uttar Pradesh Board examinations. The event took place at the Collectorate auditorium in Bareilly in the presence of several prominent dignitaries.

The ceremony was graced by Forest and Environment Minister Dr. Arun Kumar, Mayor Dr. Umesh Gautam, District Panchayat Chairperson Rashmi Patel, Bareilly MP Chhatrapal Gangwar, MLC Bahoran Lal Maurya, Bithri Chainpur MLA Dr. Raghvendra Sharma, and Nawabganj MLA Dr. M.P. Arya.

Students from Sarvodaya Jan Kalyan Inter College, Khera (Aonla, Bareilly) brought laurels to the district by securing top positions at the state level. In the high school category, Rashmi secured 6th rank, while Rajni Singh and Shivani achieved 8th rank. Gulshan Yadav and Vaishnavi Gupta were placed 10th.

In the intermediate examinations, Nandini Gupta secured the 2nd position in the state, followed by Surbhi Yadav at 3rd rank. Khushi Maurya and Simran Maurya secured 6th position, while Chaman Jahan stood 7th. All the students were felicitated and extended best wishes for their future.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Arun Kumar praised the students, stating that they serve as an inspiration for other girls and exemplify how determination, hard work, and vision can achieve success. He emphasised the vital role of women in the nation’s progress.

Mayor Dr. Umesh Gautam congratulated the students, their families, and teachers, and announced 100% scholarships for district toppers seeking admission at Invertis University, along with financial assistance for online courses.

Other dignitaries also lauded the achievements, highlighting the pride brought to the district and the growing success of students from rural backgrounds. Speakers encouraged students to pursue their goals with dedication, citing the importance of education as a transformative force.

During the event, meritorious students were awarded medals and e-scooters under a state initiative aimed at encouraging academic excellence. Under an innovative programme titled “Operation Udanpari,” the district administration distributed e-scooters to five high school and five intermediate toppers.

District Magistrate Avinash Singh, along with other senior officials including Chief Development Officer Devyani and Additional District Magistrates, were also present. School management, teachers, parents, and students attended the ceremony in large numbers. The event celebrated not only academic excellence but also the growing empowerment of girls through education, marking a proud moment for Bareilly district.
