MJPRU Faculty of Management Organises ‘Somnath Swabhimaan Parv’

Bareilly: The Faculty of Management (Department of Business Administration) at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University organised a dignified event titled ‘Somnath Swabhimaan Parv’, celebrating the confluence of faith, history, and national pride.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.P. Singh, who in his message highlighted that the Somnath Temple is not merely a religious site but a powerful symbol of India’s resilience, identity, and cultural resurgence.

Prof. (Dr.) Tulika Saxena, Dean and Head of the Faculty of Management, presided over the event and welcomed the guests. She emphasized that the primary objective of the programme was to acquaint students with the rich legacy of Somnath and the enduring spirit of Indian culture. She also shed light on the department’s academic and cultural initiatives.

Dr. Prempal Singh, Nodal Officer from the Education Department, played a key role in organising the event and elaborated on the historical and cultural significance of Somnath, linking it with national pride.

Several faculty members and contributors, including Vaishali Vishwakarma, Dr. Richa, Dr. Sunil, Bal Pratap, Neha Katheria, and Megha Joshi, actively participated in making the programme successful through activities such as ceremonial lamp lighting, cultural performances, and interactive sessions.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members alike.
