Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee President and former minister Ajay Rai visited the Tedi Puliya area of Vikas Nagar in Lucknow to meet families affected by a recent fire incident. During his visit, he interacted with the victims, took stock of their situation, and listened to their grievances in detail.
Expressing deep sorrow over the loss and damage caused by the fire, Ajay Rai said that the Congress Party stands firmly with the affected families in this difficult time. He assured them of full support in their rehabilitation and extended immediate relief assistance, including distribution of ration, clothes, and other essential food supplies.
He also appealed to the state government to provide adequate financial assistance, proper housing, and necessary support to all affected families at the earliest so that they can rebuild their lives and return to normalcy.
“The Congress Party is standing with the victims with complete commitment and solidarity,” Ajay Rai said while interacting with the families.
During the visit, several senior Congress leaders accompanied him, including former MLA Louis Khurshid, Mukesh Singh Chauhan, District Congress Committee President Rudra Daman Singh, City Congress Committee President Amit Srivastava Tyagi, Dr. Shahzad Alam, Asif Rizvi Rinku, Pushpendra Srivastava, Dr. Amit Rai, Arshad Khurshid, Capt. Vanshidhar Mishra, Ashutosh Mishra, Hammam Waheed, Aryan Mishra, along with other party office bearers and local workers.
The delegation reviewed the ground situation and assured continued assistance to the victims in coordination with local efforts.
