141st Birth Anniversary of Sant Kanwar Ram Sahib Celebrated with Grandeur in Lucknow

Lucknow: The 141st birth anniversary of Sant Kanwar Ram Sahib was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm by the Sindhi community across the city of Lucknow.

To mark the occasion, a grand bhandara (community feast) was organised at Sant Kanwar Ram Chowk in Alambagh under the aegis of Guru Mata Dayali Devi Seva Mandal and Sakhi Baba Yuva Mandal. Alongside the feast, a blood donation camp was also held in collaboration with a local medical college, where around 40 donors voluntarily contributed blood.

The event commenced at 10:00 am with the inauguration of the bhandara by Sai Mohan Lal Sahib and Sai Harish Lal Sahib of Shiv Shanti Sant Asudaram Ashram. Addressing the gathering, Sai Mohan Lal Sahib highlighted the life and teachings of Sant Kanwar Ram Sahib, emphasising his contributions to service, spirituality, and social harmony.

According to organiser Preetam Valecha, the bhandara has been held annually for the past 20 years on the saint’s birth anniversary, drawing active participation from the Sindhi community. The feast continued throughout the day until late evening, serving prasad to nearly 10,000 devotees.

Several prominent personalities and public representatives attended the event, including Anand Dwivedi, Mukesh Sharma, former MLA Suresh Chand Tiwari, and former state minister Nanak Chand Lakhmani, among others.

Members of the organising committees, including Vinay Malani, Hansraj Manwani, Santosh Kukreja, and several volunteers, played a key role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the event.

The celebration reflected the enduring legacy of Sant Kanwar Ram Sahib, whose message of unity, service, and compassion continues to inspire generations.
