Raebareli: The Swachhta Pakhwada 2026 was formally inaugurated at All India Institute of Medical Sciences Raebareli, with a series of cleanliness and awareness initiatives led by the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR). The fortnight-long campaign is being observed from April 1 to April 15.
The initiative is being conducted under the guidance of Executive Director Prof. Amita Jain and under the direction of Swachhta Pakhwada Chairperson Dr. Suyash Singh.
On the first day of the campaign, a special cleanliness drive was carried out in PMR Ward 7C. The activity focused on maintaining hygiene within the ward premises and spreading awareness among patients and their attendants about the importance of hand hygiene and proper biomedical waste management.
The program was coordinated under the leadership of Nodal Officer Dr. Satyasheel Singh Asthana, with active participation from healthcare workers, nursing staff, and supporting personnel. The campaign emphasized the role of collective responsibility in maintaining a clean and safe hospital environment.

The event was smoothly organized with the support of coordinator Abhash, ensuring effective implementation of all planned activities. Participants were encouraged to adopt cleanliness as a daily habit and contribute to a healthier environment.
As part of Swachhta Pakhwada, a range of awareness programs, sanitation drives, and community participation initiatives will be conducted over the next 15 days, aiming to further strengthen hygiene practices across the hospital campus.
