Gonda: To ensure a fair and transparent conduct of the written examination for Sub-Inspector (Civil Police) and equivalent posts Direct Recruitment–2025, Inspector General of Police Amit Pathak carried out inspections at several examination centres in the district on Sunday.
The recruitment examination is being conducted under the supervision of the Uttar Pradesh Police, and the inspection was aimed at ensuring that the exam is held in a cheating-free, transparent and peaceful manner.
During the first shift of the examination on March 15, the IG visited multiple centres including Maa Pateshwari Devi Rajkiya Engineering College, Government Polytechnic College, Swami Vivekanand Inter College, and Jigar Memorial Inter College.
During the inspection, Pathak reviewed arrangements related to security deployment, seating of candidates, distribution of question papers and overall monitoring of the examination process. Officials ensured that all guidelines were being followed and that the examination was being conducted in an orderly and peaceful manner at every centre.

The Inspector General also issued necessary instructions to officials and centre administrators to maintain the sanctity and transparency of the examination process. He emphasized strict vigilance to prevent any form of malpractice and directed authorities to ensure that the examination remains completely fair and cheating-free.
District authorities confirmed that all required administrative and security arrangements had been put in place to ensure the smooth and systematic conduct of the recruitment examination across the centres in Gonda.
