Lucknow: The city of Lucknow will host the UP International Film Conclave 2026 on March 30 and 31, bringing together prominent personalities from the film, television, and creative industries. The two-day conclave will be organized under the aegis of Film Society of India at the Sant Gadge Ji Maharaj Auditorium.
Announcing the event, Ramesh Mishra said the conclave will celebrate cinema, creativity, and cultural dialogue. Filmmakers, directors, actors, producers, and cultural personalities from across India and abroad are expected to participate in the event.
According to the organizers, the conclave will focus on categories such as feature films, short films, and documentary films. The programme will include film screenings, panel discussions, networking sessions, and interactive dialogues with experts from the film industry, providing a platform for meaningful exchange of ideas and collaboration.
Several well-known personalities from the film and television industry are expected to attend the conclave. Among them are actors Rajesh Jais, Aditya Srivastava, Pramod Pathak, actress Meenakshi Dixit, and actor Zakir Hussain, along with several other notable figures.

Speaking about the objective of the event, Mishra said the UP International Film Conclave 2026 aims to promote creativity and cultural dialogue through cinema. The platform will bring together filmmakers, artists, and creative professionals from different parts of the world to encourage meaningful discussions and open new avenues for collaboration.
Film director and founder-president of the Film Society of India, Durgesh Pathak, said the conclave will serve as a source of inspiration for emerging filmmakers and young creative talents. He added that the initiative will energize film and cultural activities in Uttar Pradesh and help position the state as an emerging hub for cinema, arts, and creative industries.
