Lucknow: Demonstrating its commitment to public service and citizen-friendly policing, the Kaiserbagh Police Station under the Western Zone of the Lucknow Police Commissionerate successfully recovered several lost mobile phones and returned them to their rightful owners.
Acting under the direction of Police Commissioner Lucknow Shri Amrendra Kumar Sengar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), Assistant Commissioner of Police Kaiserbagh, and the Station House Officer of Kaiserbagh, the police traced mobile phones reported lost or misplaced and registered on the CEIR (Central Equipment Identity Register) portal.

As part of this initiative, Kaiserbagh police recovered a total of 21 lost mobile phones. Out of these, 17 mobile phones were formally handed over to their respective owners after due verification. The remaining four mobile phones will be returned soon, as their owners could not be present at the time due to unavoidable reasons.
The recovery was the result of sustained efforts by the police team, which diligently followed up on CEIR portal registrations and technical leads. This initiative has been widely appreciated by the local public, further strengthening the image of the police as a reliable and citizen-friendly force.
