Punita Singh Khushboo Extends Grand Welcome to New Members
Lucknow/Ghazipur: Hundreds of women from the Paswan and Pal communities joined the Samajwadi Party (SP) during a Nari Samman and Membership Induction Ceremony organised in Ghazipur. The event witnessed a vibrant and enthusiastic atmosphere as Punita Singh Khushboo, State Secretary of the Samajwadi Mahila Sabha, Uttar Pradesh, was accorded a warm and grand welcome.
The reception stood out for its cultural touch, with women singing traditional Sohar songs, creating an atmosphere charged with celebration and Samajwadi spirit. Punita Singh Khushboo welcomed the newly inducted members by garlanding them and formally enrolling them into the party by presenting the Samajwadi Party gamcha.
Addressing the gathering, Punita Singh Khushboo said that the PDA (Backward, Dalit and Minority) society would witness holistic development once Akhilesh Yadav becomes Chief Minister. She assured the women that the Samajwadi Party stands firmly for equality and social justice and that no community would face discrimination under an SP-led government.

Several senior leaders and representatives were present on the occasion, including Sujeet Yadav, District President of Yadav Mahasabha and Pichhda Dalit Vikas Mahasangh, Ghazipur; senior SP leader Suraj Ram Bagi; Sector In-Charge Sihasan Yadav; Ajay Paswan; Sandeep Pal; Ajay Yadav, along with many other party leaders and supporters.
The large-scale participation of women from the Paswan and Pal communities highlighted the growing support for the Samajwadi Party and underscored the increasing role of women in grassroots political mobilisation.
