CM Yogi Felicitates Winners at All India Prize Money Men’s Kabaddi Tournament 2025

Gorakhpur: The seventh edition of the Brahmaleen Param Pujya Mahant Avedyanath Maharaj All India Prize Money Men’s Kabaddi Tournament 2025 concluded in Gorakhpur  with an impressive display of sporting excellence. Outstanding players were honoured with medals, cheques, and trophies for their performance in the prestigious event.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended the ceremony as the chief guest and felicitated the winning athletes. Addressing the gathering, he said that India has witnessed remarkable transformation over the past 11 years, particularly in the sports sector. He also presented trophies and cheques to the top performers, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence.

The Chief Minister highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for every youngster in the country to take up at least one sport, reaffirming the belief that “Kheloge toh khiloge”—playing leads to progress, both for oneself and for the nation. He extended his best wishes for the future of all participating athletes.

During the event, CM Yogi also honoured the winners of the 69th National School Games 2025 held in Gorakhpur under the Greco-Roman wrestling category, applauding their dedication and hard work.

Expressing confidence in the emerging talent, Yogi Adityanath said that the discipline and determination of these young sportspersons will help India secure a stronger position on the global sports map in the coming years. He congratulated all participants, their coaches, and the winners for their commendable achievements.
