Jaunpur Traders Engage with Minister A.K. Sharma on GST Reforms

Lucknow – In a key dialogue session held at the Collectorate Auditorium in Jaunpur, Minister of Urban Development and Energy, A.K. Sharma, who also oversees the district, met with local traders to discuss recent GST reforms. The minister highlighted that reductions in GST rates would invigorate business activities, energize local markets, and generate more employment opportunities.

Addressing the gathering, Sharma emphasized that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the central government is committed to a pro-business tax system that eases burdens on traders while ensuring affordable goods for consumers. He assured traders that the government is prioritizing their issues and working continuously toward effective solutions.

Minister Sharma also called upon traders to promote indigenous products and support the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Strengthening local commerce, he noted, will not only bolster Jaunpur’s economy but also contribute to national progress.

Traders at the event welcomed the minister’s initiatives, expressing appreciation for the government’s pro-business measures. Many conveyed confidence that the GST reforms will simplify business operations and empower the trade sector for a stronger, more sustainable future.
