Chandigarh: The much-anticipated second phase of the Good Club Padel League 2025 took place from May 16 to 18 in Chandigarh, continuing the thrilling momentum established during its successful opening stage. This latest round delivered more intense action as talented padel players battled fiercely over the weekend, captivating fans and participants alike.
As India’s first dedicated padel league, the Good Club has brought fresh energy to the nation’s sports scene by introducing this dynamic new format. Beyond competition, the league has fostered a vibrant community spirit, uniting enthusiasts, families, and businesses around their shared passion for sport and collective growth—both on and off the court.
Founders Share Their Vision
Founders Aashna A. Mehra and Pranav Mehra spoke with Jagran English about why Chandigarh was chosen for this venture and what lies ahead for the league.
“Having observed padel’s rise internationally, we felt Chandigarh was the perfect place to build a club catering to everyone—parents, children, women—creating a sense of wellbeing and belonging,” Aashna explained. “As a Chandigarh native and former tennis player, I know how easily tennis players can adapt to padel, which made the decision natural.”
Pranav added, “Building a community here has been seamless, and the enthusiasm from players and families has been overwhelming.”

Broadcasting and Future Plans
The founders confirmed that the league’s knockout stages are set to be broadcast online, following a technical setback that prevented streaming earlier rounds.
Looking ahead, they envision the league growing stronger, with a focus not only on high-level competition but also on promoting camaraderie and sportsmanship. Plans include launching a winter season and creating “Padel Retreats” in other cities—designed as relaxing holiday experiences where families can enjoy padel alongside leisure activities during extended stays.
