Lucknow: Following a complaint filed on April 27, 2025, regarding the gang rape of a minor girl, an immediate case was registered at the local police station under Crime No. 192/2025, Sections 70(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Sections 5g/6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, against three named accused individuals.
In line with the directives of the Commissioner of Police, Lucknow, and under the effective supervision of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (South), and the Assistant Commissioner of Police, and led by the Station House Officer Brijesh Kumar Tripathi, the police team of Police Station Gosainganj apprehended all three accused related to the aforementioned crime.
The arrested individuals are:
- Mohd. Mustaq, son of Anwar Ali, aged 21 years, resident of Village Jaukhandi, Police Station Gosainganj, District Lucknow.
- Sahil, son of Rais, aged 21 years, resident of Village Jaukhandi, Police Station Gosainganj, District Lucknow.
- Ahsan, son of Israr, aged 19 years, resident of Village Jaukhandi, Police Station Gosainganj, District Lucknow.
The arrests were made on April 28, 2025, near the Purvanchal Expressway underpass on the Gosainganj-Mohanlalganj Road, based on information from a reliable source. The accused are being presented before the Hon’ble Court, and further necessary legal proceedings are underway.
Brief Description of the Crime:
On April 27, 2025, the complainant, a resident of the police station area, submitted a written complaint stating that her minor daughter, approximately 12 years and 6 months old, was forcibly taken by the accused individuals in a Mahindra pickup truck bearing registration number UP 32 NN 6780, belonging to Izhar, son of Aziz, a resident of the same village, and subjected to rape. Based on this complaint, the aforementioned case was immediately registered, leading to the arrest and impending imprisonment of the three named accused.
