Lucknow: In a dramatic and shocking turn of events, the Lucknow Commissionerate Police has successfully uncovered a major loot incident within just two hours of its occurrence. The accused, identified as Aman Sodhi, staged a filmi-style robbery and tried to flee the scene after committing the crime.
Accused Took Advantage of Trust
Aman Sodhi had been working at the shop of businessman Gaurav Agarwal for quite some time. Taking advantage of the trust that the businessman had placed in him, Aman was given five gold biscuits, each weighing 1 kg, by Gaurav Agarwal for safekeeping. However, the large quantity of gold made Aman’s intentions suspicious. The sight of so much gold led Aman to hatch a plan to steal it.
Aman’s Staged Story and Gold Theft
After taking the gold, Aman took two kilograms of it and secretly hid it at his nani’s house. He then went to Gaurav Agarwal, lying that some people had ambushed him, surrounded him, and stolen 2 kilograms of gold biscuits from him. The remaining three kilograms were left with Aman.
However, Gaurav Agarwal, feeling suspicious of the story, immediately contacted the police and reported the theft.
Swift Police Investigation
Upon receiving the complaint, the Lucknow Police swung into action. Under the guidance of DCP Ravina Tyagi, and with the leadership of ACPI Neha Tripathi, the investigation was swiftly carried out by Hussanganj Police Station In-charge DK Singh. Within two hours, the police cracked the case and confirmed that it was a fabricated robbery.

Accused Arrested
The Hussanganj Police traced and apprehended Aman Sodhi near Manakameshwar in Lucknow. The accused was taken into custody and confessed to the crime during the investigation. He was arrested for staging the robbery and attempting to deceive his employer, Gaurav Agarwal.
Police Success
The police’s quick action and successful resolution of the case within hours showcase their efficiency and effectiveness in handling criminal cases. The recovered gold was returned to the rightful owner, and the accused was sent to judicial custody for further legal action.
