Mawaiya Police Successfully Rescues Missing Mother and Daughter

Lucknow: In a commendable display of prompt action, the Mawaiya Police Station in Alambagh successfully recovered a missing mother and her 3.5-year-old daughter, reuniting them with their family within 24 hours of their disappearance.

It all started on October 31, 2024, when the plaintiff, a constable with the Railway Protection Force (RPF), reported that his mother, aged approximately 55, and his young daughter had gone for a morning walk around 10:00 am and had not returned home. Concerned for their safety, the constable filed a missing persons report at the local police station, leading to the registration of case number 53/2024.

Israr Ahmed Khan, the outpost in-charge of Mawaiya, was assigned to lead the investigation. His team, which included Constable Saurabh Kumar and Anjali Shukla and Aakashya Mishra, acted swiftly to locate the missing individuals.

Thanks to their diligent efforts and coordination, the mother and daughter were found safe on November 1, 2024. The police ensured that the pair were unharmed and promptly returned them to the relieved family.

The successful outcome of this case has garnered praise for the local police, with the family expressing their heartfelt gratitude for the swift action that ensured the safe return of their loved ones.
