Bareilly: Pt. Vipin Sharma, a resident of Bareilly, a multi-talented person, has obtained a PhD degree in astrology on the subject of his research on pre-birth and horoscope analysis.

Recently, Shri Maharishi Vedic College, Udaipur, Rajasthan, awarded him a gold medal along with the PhD degree. Shri Maharishi Vedic College, affiliated to IAMA International Open University, Florida, USA, which has done remarkable work by promoting research in astrology, is also making a significant contribution in the exploration of the ancient Indian method of astrology. More than 40 thousand graduates have studied astrology from here.

Pt. Vipin, a resident of Akanksha Enclave, has been associated with astrology since childhood. His father, late Purna Chandra Sharma, was a well-known astrologer. Vipin acquired the knowledge of astrology from him. To understand and explore the planets and constellations in the horoscope with more accuracy, Vipin, after doing B.Com from Bareilly College, took admission in Shri Maharishi Vedic College, Udaipur on the advice of his father to get formal education in astrology.

In the year 2020, he did a PG diploma course and became a Shastri with A+ grade. In the year 2021, he obtained a PG degree as a Jyotishcharya with an A+ grade. For research in astrology, Pandit Vipin applied to Shri Maharishi Vedic College on the subject of previous birth and horoscope analysis.

After the application was accepted by the college, he completed his research work under the guidance of the faculty guide Dr. Pawan Parmar here and obtained a PhD degree with a gold medal. Dr. Vipin gives credit for this to his parents late Suman Lata Sharma and father late Purna Chandra Sharma.

He says that with the blessings and encouragement of both of them, he got interested in a profound subject like astrology and he decided to research this subject and take it to the common people with scientificity. Guide Dr. Pawan Parmar helped a lot in completing the research. Yes, the contribution of both brothers Rachit and Sumit and wife Charul Sharma and son Sarthak Sharma Vasu is also no less in completing the PhD, who made it possible for me to take time out for this.

Dr. Vipin says that most people consider astrology to be imaginary and look at it with superstition, whereas it is completely a scientific and mathematical subject. The more accurate the calculations are, the more correct the questions asked in astrology will be. Our sages have contributed a lot in astrology. A lot is available on this subject in ancient scriptures, but most of the people who read horoscopes make mistakes in calculations due to lack of self-study and knowledge, due to which confusion about astrology spreads among the common people.

Today, IAMA International Open University, Florida, USA is doing important work for the upliftment of astrology. Research on astrology is going on in many institutions in the country too. Due to continuous research on this subject, it is expected that this ancient Indian knowledge will reach its golden peak again.
