Commissioning Ceremony of Non-Technical Officers of Army Medical Corps for the year 2024 was held at Maj LJ Singh, Ashok Chakra Auditorium of AMC Centre & College, Lucknow on 15 Oct 2024.
The ceremony conducted with military precision, was presided over by Lt Gen Shivinder Singh, Commandant, AMC Centre & College and OIC Records of AMC. He was assisted by Maj Gen Parag A Deshmukh, Offg Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor, AMC Centre and College, Lucknow.
A total of 16 NCOs and other ranks were granted Short Service Commission in the Non-Technical Cadre of Army Medical Corps. It was a memorable moment for each of these soldiers as they transitioned from the present rank to the prestigious cadre of commissioned officers.
Lt Gen Shivinder Singh while addressing the newly commissioned officers, reiterated the onerous role and responsibilities that have now been entrusted upon them. He exhorted them to maintain the highest standards of morality, integrity and loyalty, both in their professional and personal lives, while continuously striving for excellence to uphold the values of the organisation.
The ceremony was attended by relatives of the newly commissioned officers along with Officers, Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and Other Ranks (OR) of AMC Centre & College and other medical units in the station.
