Recently, Musk-run XAI made its AI chatbot Grok available to developers and researchers in open-source mode. “We are releasing the weights and architecture of our 314 billion parameter mixture expert model, GROC-1,” the company said in a blog post.
XAI expands Grok to these countries
The AI chatbot is now available on the open-source developer platform Github. Last year, XAI expanded Grok to 46 other countries, including India, Australia, Canada, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Singapore.
The microblogging platform has already rolled out access to its Grok AI (beta) for Premium Plus subscribers in the US. According to the latest data from Sensor Tower, X usage in the US is down 18 percent (year-over-year), and 23 percent since Musk’s acquisition in October 2022.
