Lucknow: Under the leadership and guidance of Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, Gram Chaupal (Village Problems – Solutions in Village) is being organized every Friday in two Gram Panchayats of each development block of the state to resolve the problems of the villagers, and the problems of a large number of people are being resolved in their villages itself.
The government itself is going to the villages and the poor, while the ground reality of various projects going on in the villages is revealed from the Gram Chaupals, the implementation of the schemes of the social sector is also gaining momentum.
In compliance with the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya, Chaupals are being organized by making a solid and effective outline and before the Chaupals, special focus is being laid on cleanliness in the villages and maximum publicity is also being done about the Chaupals.
Apart from personal problems, public problems are also being resolved in the Chaupals. Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya has instructed the concerned officials that Gram Chaupals should be organized duly. According to the information received from the Rural Development Department, Gram Chaupal was organized in 1523 Gram Panchayats of the state recently, in which 4876 cases were resolved in the village panchayats itself. 4160 block level officers and employees and 8318 village level employees were present in these Gram Chaupals and more than 90 thousand villagers participated in these Chaupals.
Rural Development Commissioner GS Priyadarshi informed that from January 23 till now, more than 95 thousand Gram Chaupals have been organized, in which more than 68 lakh villagers were present and 03 lakh 90 thousand problems/cases were resolved.
