Lucknow: 977 beneficiaries of Uttar Pradesh have been provided additional 3 percent interest subsidy in the form of an amount of Rs 550.00 lakh (five crore fifty lakh rupees) under the Atmanirbhar Krishak Samanway Vikas Yojana under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIIF).
State Minister for Cooperation (Independent Charge) JPS Rathore congratulated the Cooperative Department for the successful implementation of this scheme and said that a loan of Rs 4630.83 crore has been sanctioned for a total of 5753 projects in the state, out of which a loan of Rs 2593.64 crore has been distributed to 5217 beneficiaries, and with the support of the state government, the Cooperative Department is moving towards providing benefits to the farmers under the AIIF scheme.
Along with this, we have also distributed loans to promote jaggery, bio energy, value added products, warehouses and cold storage. This information was given by the State Minister of Cooperation (Independent Charge) of the state, JPS Rathore. He informed that Uttar Pradesh is ranked second in the country in geo-tagging of projects established under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund Scheme.
Apart from this, in the AIF Excellence Award Ceremony held in New Delhi yesterday on 3 September 2024, Uttar Pradesh got third place in the country for the financial year 2022-23 and second place for 2023-24.
On this occasion, Honorable Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan honored Uttar Pradesh Additional Commissioner and Additional Registrar (Banking / IIT) Cooperative Anil Kumar Singh and Additional District Cooperative Officer Archana Rai by giving awards. He informed that Uttar Pradesh has been honored as a result of the tireless efforts and hard work of the officers of the Cooperative Department. He extended hearty congratulations and best wishes to the concerned officers.
